  1. EASY DOWNLOAD PACKAGE: QUICKTIME WITH QTVR PLAYER

  4. This package contains a QuickTIme installer application and QTVR Component.
  5. QuickTime 2.1.1 will install a number of system files and an application
  6. named PLAYER.EXE. You can use PLAYER.EXE to view QuickTime movies and QTVR
  7. scenes and objects. PLAYER.EXE will also work as a helper application with
  8. most web browsers.

  24. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

  26. 1. Launch the QT16.EXE application. This application installs a number of 
  27. system resources for QuickTime. It also installs an application named
  28. PLAYER.EXE that lets you view QuickTime and QuickTime VR movies.

  30. 2. Launch  QTVRW16.EXE.  This executable self-expanding archive will expand
  31. into a file named QTVRW.QTC.  Place the QTVRW.QTC file into the \WINDOWS\SYSTEM
  32. directory of your  primary drive.

  35. USING PLAYER.EXE AS A HELPER APP FOR YOUR WEB BROWSER

  37. You may use Player.EXE as a helper application in conjunction with your web
  38. browser. It works with the MIME type video/quicktime. Consult your
  39. browser's manual or online help for more information on setting up helperapps.

  42. USING QTVR WITH THE QUICKTIME PLUG-IN

  44. Navigating Scenes:

  46. To Look around:    Click and drag
  47. To Zoom in:        Press Alt
  48. To Zoom out:    Press Control
  49. To Jump to a new Node:    Move the pointer to a jump spot and click

  54. To turn object:    Click and drag
  55. To save an embedded object:    Click the right mouse button; from the popup choose 
  56. "Save Movie."

  59. Saving Panoramas and Objects:

  61. To save a Panorama or Object embedded in a web page:  Press the right mouse button; choose Save from the popup.
  62. To save a Panorama or Object displayed in a separate window: Choose Save As from the File menu.
